Welcome to this week’s Warfront Studio development update. This week, we have an important change to our release schedule , encouraging progress across all three of our hard-plastic infantry kits, and the beginning of production for our new resin range.

Due to the change to the US Infantry release date and the overall production capacity at Archon Studio, our entire release plan has moved back slightly.

Our current schedule is now:

Pre-order pricing for both the Western PMC and British Infantry kits will remain available for 30 days from the launch of each campaign. After that period, the kits will return to their standard retail pricing.

Unfortunately, the release of our US Infantry kit has been pushed back to 30 September 2026.

This is due to an unexpected production scheduling conflict at our plastic manufacturing partner. Sadly, this is outside our control, and we appreciate that the additional delay will be disappointing for everyone who has pre-ordered the kit.

While production continues, we are putting the finishing touches to the box artwork and preparing updated photography of the completed miniatures. We’ll share more as we approach the revised release date.

The Western PMC files have now been submitted to Archon Studio for manufacturing approval.

The initial review has identified some changes needed to the rifles, where the current level of detail is too fine for reliable plastic production. This is a normal part of preparing a highly detailed design for hard-plastic tooling, and the early feedback is otherwise extremely promising.

We’re very happy with how the kit is shaping up and believe it will retain an exceptional level of detail once the necessary adjustments have been completed.

Our British Infantry kit is currently undergoing its final internal review.

We are extremely happy with its overall look and feel. We believe the miniatures successfully capture the distinctive appearance of modern British infantry while remaining modular and versatile on the tabletop.

There are still a few details to review before the files move forward, but we can’t wait to show you more of the kit very soon.

Production has now begun on our range of in-house resin kits!

We are starting with three US support sets:

Expect to see much more from these kits very soon.

Once the US teams are complete, we will move on to three new Western PMC resin kits, followed by our British support sets. After that, we plan to expand the range further with several generic and civilian-themed kits suitable for a wide variety of modern tabletop settings.
