Warfront Weekly Development Update
This week brings another major milestone for our hard plastic ranges, an updated delivery date for US Infantry, new resin kits and further progress on the Warfront ruleset.
It has been another busy week behind the scenes at Warfront Studio. Here is the latest progress across our miniatures, production programme and upcoming tabletop rules.
Western PMC Parts Submitted to Archon Studio
We are pleased to confirm that the completed components for our Western PMC hard plastic frame have now been submitted to Archon Studio.
Archon can now begin preparing the parts for the frame layout and the next stages of plastic tooling production.
The Western PMC kit will build 30 highly customisable 28mm miniatures, with six operators on each hard plastic frame.
The frame includes an extensive selection of heads, equipment and weapons, including suppressed rifles, the FN Minimi, P90, shotgun, sniper rifle and tactical drone.
We will share further updates as soon as the initial frame layout is available.
Updated US Infantry Delivery Date
We have received an updated production schedule from Archon Studio for our first 28mm hard plastic infantry kit.
We appreciate that customers are eager to receive their miniatures, and we share that excitement. Although this is later than originally anticipated, the additional production time will ensure that the final hard plastic kit meets the standard we expect.
We will continue to keep customers informed as the project moves through tooling, production and dispatch.
Western PMC Early Access Passes Are Still Available
Early Access Passes for the Western PMC kit are still available for anyone who wants priority access when the kit launches.
- Get access 24 hours before the general release.
- Your £1 pass cost is credited against your Western PMC order.
- Secure priority access to the launch allocation.
That £1 will be deducted from your order when you purchase the kit.
Ten New Resin Kits Commissioned
Alongside our growing range of hard plastic infantry, we have now commissioned ten additional kits for production in resin.
These releases will be designed to complement our plastic ranges with specialist teams, support weapons, characters and other options that are better suited to resin production.
Development is already underway, and we will begin revealing these kits as designs are completed.
Stay tuned to our website, newsletter and social media channels for the first previews.
Rules Development and Playtesting
Work on the Warfront tabletop rules continues, and we are getting close to being able to show you what we have been developing.
We are still collecting playtesters who already own suitable modern miniatures and terrain and would like to help shape the game before its wider release.
Become a Warfront Playtester
If you already own modern miniatures and terrain, and you would like to help shape the future of the Warfront ruleset, we would love to hear from you.
Please include:
- Your name.
- Your country.
- What modern miniatures you currently own.
- Whether you have access to modern terrain.
- A little about your gaming group, including how many people are involved, how often you play and which games you currently enjoy.
Honest, constructive feedback from active gaming groups will be an important part of preparing the rules for release.
