Welcome to this week's development update!
It's been another busy week behind the scenes, so here's a look at what we've been working on and what's coming next.
US Infantry Release Update
First, an update on our US Infantry kit.
Archon Studio has advised us that production has been delayed slightly. As things currently stand, we're now expecting the kits to arrive in early September, rather than our original target of late August.
We know delays are frustrating, and we're just as eager to get these into your hands as you are. We'd much rather keep everyone informed than stay quiet until the last minute.
To make things easier going forward, we've added a Release Schedule page to the website where you'll be able to keep track of every Warfront product and exactly where it is in the production process.
Resin Miniatures
You want resin miniatures.
We've had a huge amount of feedback asking for characters, specialists, heavy weapons teams and other models that don't necessarily fit onto a plastic frame.
We're listening.
We're now actively exploring expanding our resin range alongside our hard plastic kits, giving us the flexibility to produce all those niche models that help bring an army to life.
Watch this space...
A Warfront Ruleset?
This is something we've talked about internally for a while.
The games we currently play are good...
...but none of them quite capture the scale, speed and brutality that we're looking for in modern combat.
So we're exploring the possibility of developing our own tabletop ruleset.
It's still very early days. At the moment we're throwing ideas around, testing mechanics and asking ourselves what we actually want from a modern wargame.
If the project progresses, we'll eventually need people to help us break it.

Western PMC Update
Development of the Western PMC kit is moving along nicely.
The individual components are now almost complete, and we're getting very close to moving into the final stages of the sculpting process.
Once that's finished, our attention turns fully to the next project.

British Infantry
British Infantry development begins next.
With the PMC components almost wrapped up, work will begin in earnest on our British Infantry kit.
Over the coming weeks we'll be putting together the reference material, finalising component layouts and working closely with our sculptor to create what we hope will become the definitive modern British infantry plastic kit.
As always, we'll continue sharing progress throughout development and asking for your feedback along the way.
