Warfront Roadmap: Where We Are and Where We're Going
Share
Launch, Production & What Comes Next
As we begin launching our first kit, this is probably the most exciting time in Warfront's journey so far.
It is also the most terrifying.
For the last few years, Warfront has existed as a vision, a collection of ideas, CAD files, prototypes, spreadsheets, and endless conversations about what modern military miniatures could become.
Now we are moving into something much more real.
Products are entering production. Packaging is being finalised. Retail conversations are underway. Pre-orders are opening. Before long, boxes will be arriving at people's homes.
This is the point where all the planning starts turning into reality.

Production Timeline
Our manufacturing partner, Archon Studio, currently expects product to arrive with us in early August.
As soon as stock lands, our focus will be on turning orders around as quickly as possible and getting boxes into the hands of pre-order customers.
Alongside production, we are currently working through all the less exciting but equally important jobs required to launch a physical product properly:
- Finalising box artwork and packaging
- Retail-ready barcodes
- Safety and warning labels
- Retail distribution preparation
- Photography and marketing materials
We are also still waiting for our painted studio miniatures. These are currently being worked on by the incredibly talented Andy Singleton of Volley Fire Painting, and we are excited to finally show the range fully painted in the coming weeks.
The PMC Kit
The US Infantry Platoon is only the beginning.
Our next major release is the PMC Infantry Kit, which is already deep into development.
We have been sharing a few previews of individual components and design work, and development is progressing well. Our current expectation is that the PMC files will be completed and submitted shortly, entering production during July and arriving around October.
The PMC range allows us to explore a very different visual style while remaining fully compatible with the wider Warfront ecosystem.
As with all Warfront kits, compatibility and modularity remain major priorities.
What Comes After PMC?
After PMC, our original plan was to move directly into a modern criminal faction inspired by organised crime groups, armed crews, and modern action cinema.
However, we recently launched a community poll.
The results were pretty clear.
While criminals were not included as an option on that particular poll, there was overwhelming demand for Modern British Infantry.
As a result, we will be launching another Facebook poll this week to decide what comes next.
The choice will be simple:
- Modern British Infantry
- Modern Criminals
If British Infantry wins, we will follow up with another community vote to help determine what opposing force should come next.
One thing we have always wanted to create is a proper starter set for a future game system, and for that you need two opposing factions.
If criminals win the vote, then they naturally become that opposing force.
If British Infantry wins, we will work with the community to decide what force should stand opposite them.
Either way, community feedback is helping shape the future of Warfront in a very real way.
The Bigger Picture
Warfront was never intended to be a single miniature kit.
Our goal has always been to build a long-term modern military miniatures platform with compatible kits, extensive customisation, and enough flexibility to support collectors, painters, gamers, and hobbyists alike.
The US Infantry Platoon is the first step.
PMC is the second.
Everything after that will be built alongside the community that has helped us get this far.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the project so far.
Whether you have signed up to the newsletter, bought an Early Access Pass, shared our posts, backed our vision, or simply followed along with the journey, you are helping turn Warfront from an idea into a real company.
The next few months are going to be busy.
We are looking forward to sharing them with you.
